I hope that NP will PR the eIND process. If there are already 60 confirmed requests, that number should increase quickly through word of mouth. Patients and doctors need to know it is available to THEM, and they need to know how to access it quickly.
I believe a big part of the national problem is confusion as to what someone should do. The virus and its manifestations are confounding, but no less so than the changing and often conflicting information we seem to get on a daily basis.
PR's disclosing anecdotal progress through the eIND program can provide the above information. It's very accessibility alone should mitigate some fear of the unknown.
