There are concerns that the PCR Test does not specify if the Testee is infectious, but that they have the virus, perhaps at a later, noninfectious stage. The Antigen test detects the most infectious better and is therefore more useful.
The other concern about PCR is that each testing center may run the samples a different number of cycles, and cycles over 35 are highly inaccurate. The number of cycles does not seem to be commonly reported leaving readers without an accurate way to judge the PCR test validity, IMO.
