In a nutshell, while (at the time of the article) a Covid mutation that avoids antibody/vaccine detection is remote, the possibility does exist. With the current rampage of infections, with possible mutations, and multiple (now 2) vaccines, perhaps by summer the scientists will have a better handle on this conundrum.
