Someone asked me whether the rise in price may be due to manipulation. Possibly but there's an alternate scenario.
I haven't seen a steady march of 50k and 100k blocks like in June. Quite a few are non-rounded numbers in the 5k-10k range which is strictly retail. Today we were marching up in lockstep with HGEN so I think some of it was money being transferred out of vaccines into therapeutics. In the last 5 days between AstraZeneca, Pfizer and Moderna there's a $30 billion drop in market caps.
