When a software company is coming out with a new version, rewrite or a new product, some large enterprises will wait to buy. I've seen this many times.

Happens with hardware as well. If you want a new iPhone, why wouldn't you have waited for 5G if you could.

It's because enterprises don't want to spend a lot of time rolling out something only to have to upgrade it, communicate the changes, training etc.

Yup, there will always be new releases and new features, but major features some will wait

SaaS makes a lot of that go away, but still some companies will wait

Once a new version or product comes out, I've seen sales go through the roof as you have that pent up demand

Institutions would know this and anyone in the software industry

It's likely the reason why institutions that sold a year ago are back in full force

It's likely the reason why a lot of new institutions have bought in Q3 and now it appears Q4.

Oh and some of these funds are index funds. When they rebalance, they will buy more of Verb.
