DaveV-1: the primary endpoint is 28 day mortality and most of the secondary endpoints are 14 day mortality. I'm not a statistician, but I have learned from reputable sources that quite a few people have died from Covid and many continue to die on a daily basis. Given this situation, I am struggling to understand why genius level statisticians would need a month to analyze which of the 390 patients are alive or dead, especially since that information has already been analyzed for the 195 patients subject to the interim analysis.
