Question for the medical folks:

Is it possible to test for CCR5 through other means than a biopsy/slide?

(Thanks for your patience if this is a dumb question. Related to an individual that sent slides for the leron cancer trials- but the slides from the most recent biopsy were years old and didn't show/have cancer to test for CCR5. Dr Jay and his team have been awesome. Trying to overcome lots of hurdles- from the personal angle, not the Cytodyn/ Quest side- in adding this individual as a trial candidate and having yet another biopsy in her state is a big one.)
