When Joe mentioned this I did a shallow dive into the literature ... mostly summary publications. Honestly, I did this mostly because I was deciding if I would take the vaccine. I did see reference to Macrophage activation syndrome (MAS) or Cytokine storm ... mostly in mRNA applications in cancer research as recently as 2018. Not too much concern or mention of MAS in vaccine publications ... maybe because of the volume of cancer research. I trust Joe's knowledge of the research but I just don't see the overwhelming concern ... and there are a lot of people smarter than me peer reviewing this stuff.
