Right, I don't disagree he's a sharp guy, and has been a huge proponent of our (and other) ccr5 antagonists... and I think history will show, looking back at his work and advocacy, how millions died simply because of a lack of comprehension and/or sense of duty in our collective regulators and leadership.
But that's no basis for a business decision of that magnitude. These "activists" have not presented a rational case as to why that idea should even be entertained, in the hypothetical, by CytoDyn. They just like the guy. Which is fine, but empirically, they should petition a pharma with deeper pockets, see where that gets them, and stop whining about it.
