I think it was put up and fleshed out as a result of many people not having access to LL via clinical trial sites and then they could access according to their state's "right-to-try" laws. I think the "right-to-try" programs take about a week or so from the time the doctor submits the request to the time CytoDyn can ship the drugs.

A week....a LOT of things can happen in a week.

Sort of like the saying, "The police are minutes away when seconds count."
