You realize that entire explanation was a nod to an autocrat attempting to overthrow a fairly won election, right?

If Trump and his zealots had proof of widespread, massive fraud, don’t you think the courts (remember many were conservative and Trump appointed) would have heard cases?

Why were they all thrown out if evidence existed? Why didn’t Trumps crack legal team actually bring credible evidence?

The reason. There was no provable evidence. It was lip service to keep the base riled up, to create doubt about the election. It worked too, for many who are critically and logically thinking impaired.
