Well, guess I'm wrong. I am fairly certain the story told was that Dr. Patterson was asked if Leronlimab could work against Covid and he confirmed it. This suggests it was not him who came up with the idea originally. I also remember Cytodyn tried twice to get the FDA to allow a trial and they were refused because Leronlimab is not an anti-viral. It took Dr Seethamraju to convince the FDA.
