Yup. My in-laws always used to rag on me that I'm going to jeopardize their daughter and their grandchildren's future by "speculating in the stock market".

I asked them how much in W-2G income did they have to report from their "recreational" trips to the casinos. They told me.....I countered that I had made over 20x those figures TAX FREE in my SD/IRA and ROTH with my "recreational" stock market trips. When I told them that I probably won't have to touch my ROTH and that their daughter and/or grandchildren will get it... TAX FREE....they sort of quit mentioning that....then they shifted to bombarding me with their opposing political views.
