Has anyone ever looked at AARP UnitedHealthcare? It will vary from state to state but for $21/month payment (plus Medicare part B $148/month) I got a PPO plan, but it does give me the flexibility to transfer my coverage if I decide to have seasonal residents. Besides the additional Medicare coverage (out of pocket max $3,900), I get for prescriptions:

$150 deductable then
$4,020 co-pays till coverage gap then
$2,300 additional costs then
At $6,350 out of pocket, it reverts back to small co-pays

This may not work if you have a chronic illness that requires lifetime regiment of expensive drugs, but for a non-chronic catastrophic illness, for $21/month I think it is a good deal. In 2018 my wife was in the hospital for tests. Our total 2018 medical costs (hospital/doctors/meds etc.) was over $40,000 but I only had to pay under $800.
