"Atypical dementias" being diagnosed more frequently in younger people.
This is a disturbing story with distressing case histories. You don't have to read it -- the gist is that greater awareness is leading to more people being diagnosed accurately at younger ages (40's-60's) with dementias that are no longer lumped into the Alzheimer's category, but are characterized as forms of fronto-temporal dementia, etc.
