Can you imagine if post 9/11, two planes a day were flown into buildings and Nader calls the FAA with a solution...
Nader: "Hey, ground all your planes because 3000 people are dying every day."
FAA: "Yeah it's sad but we're not convinced grounding airplanes would prevent them from being crashed into things, so why don't you run some experiments for 9 months and come back when you can convince us otherwise."
Absurd example, I know. But the overarching point is that LL can help, but the FDA is operating like it's business as usual. Where is the urgency? Where is the "world is on fire" approach to the pandemic?
