I think your assumptions are correct and how the company communicates it is a whole different matter. Not sure KB would share if we chose to make it a call the company moment.

I hope the XPrize date sticks, but given the holiday timing I could easily see it moving to January, which would be unfortunate.

Third party validation is close to a necessity, so it really comes down to when it is released. I don't know enough about the submission process to make any determination of whether test results can be shared ahead of or during, so we'll see what the company affords us.
