Regarding the powers that be, the rules are the rules and they have not yet been broken- statistically significant safety and efficacy in a double-blind clinical trial. They're not gonna change the rules on that. After thalidomide, the international drug disaster of the sixties, that's their claim to fame.
They have to finish the trial or the DSMC has to find statistical significance. I don't understand why the company isn't updating the progress. At the very least, the enrollment should be finished. That's helpful information. Then the results. Then dinnertime. We need to know what's going on.
