big boys do have trawlers to discover what the small companies have done that the big boys have not-
even though its an inexpensive PR, distribution is sufficient for trawlers to catch it- the official recognition of the patent is the end of what is normally a long well drawn out expensive process, so this will be meaningful to potential suitors
although they still have one or more companies working with them (unless the referenced co's withdrew)
they are still holding out hope for other companies/investors to join the fray, without obviously making that the focal point of only the second PR they had in the last year or two-The June PR focused on acquiring partners
