This is the link I found today's PR under. No clue how widespread distribution has been to date. Odds are that few other than those already following the company have seen it.
I went to the USPO and read the patent today. The following things really stood out to me.
Test time from insertion of sample: 20 min
Sensitivity: 96%
Specificity: 98%
Applicability: unlimited (not just COVID, any virus; probably any disease, too)
These are incredible claims. Certainly many companies will want to test this technology independently, and if it measures up, a partnership or company buyout should be possible in 2021.
We all know that NNLX lacks the resources to quickly commercialize this technology at scale. Hopefully management can find a willing partner soon. I will certainly support any reasonable licensing deal that management espouses. The world needs this technology, and I remain hopeful that Bret will find a way to commercialize it soon.
