I might be wrong, but I think NP keeps some fluff PRs on standby and if he senses the intraday might be weak due to other news, he throws one out.
Today, the news of the Pfizer vaccine getting approval and the 10c haircut yesterday scared NP into dropping the largely-worthless NASH PR, hoping it would stabilize things. As always though, he can't seem to grasp that this strategy never works because shareholders are waiting for one thing -- a legit accomplishment.
I hope he understands that a CC will be a disaster if it's an empty update without anything completed. Don't hold another CC unless there's trial data, BLA submitted, an EUA, partnership, etc. Nobody cares about Cytodyn's financial path to Dec 2020, or how quickly the Covid trial got underway.
Show us something that's been completed.
