as mentined before the way the "effectiveness" is calculated is nothing more than A JOKE. And if they are doing such statistical analysis this way, I am honestly questioning the rest of the their R&D work also.
As mentioned many times before, the first is not necessarily (or even for sure!?) not the best. This virus is not going to go away any time soon, immunity for these mRNA vaccines seem to have a much shorter life span (a couple of months??), the virus might mutate and all of a sudden, a new, slightly altered vaccine might become necessary, and bang there you have a situation, which will be the perfect timing for GNBT/NGIO's vaccine to be available in summer of '21.
So just relax, grasshopper! It will all work out for us, it just requires even more patience from our side.
