Breaking news, the UK is buying 800K vaccines from Pfizer and will use them on frontline personnel in hospitals and care facilities. These are the same people that have been going daily testing for two weeks now, ad I note on my previous post linked above about the nurses.
This is significant because vaccine is
probably effective on those who have not had covid, and second, they don't want blood that already has antibodies from those who previously had Covid so they can accurately measure antibodies generated by the vaccine. That's a great test group for the vaccine to be live trialed in the UK, IMO!
No doubt QMC has made new code so each vaccine will be registered on the App as well as the NHS system.
