Just make sure your shares are held "NOBO" non objecting shareholder. Anytime you buy shares, all brokers classify you as "OBO", or objecting shareholder by default. If OBO, the company doesn't know the name of shareholder or how many shares he/she holds. I default set my trades as "NOBO" with the broker.
