I would hate to be the data manager trying to juggle all the patient data and ensuring it's cleaned and updated before a freeze. It sounds daunting.

I would expect that they can freeze the data at the patient level for an interim look because data needs to still be entered for the new patients (e.g. assignment to which arm, diagnostic results, notes, etc).

Certainly a fascinating discipline.
