Very interesting, PI3K is part of the PI3K-AKT-mTORC1 pathway that CCR5 downregulates and which I thought might inhibit viral reproduction. The mTORC1 pathway is also how CCR5 blockade downregulates a secondary entry site for COVID-19 - neuropilin-1.
