But is not the relevant patient population not the 40,000 (read it was actually only 30,000) patients receiving the vaccine or placebo, but the less than 100 patients (was about 95) receiving the vaccine or placebo and being infected with the virus?
Okay, if you consider number of placebos (about 90) that were infected by the virus and double that to estimate total number of vaccine and placebo patients actually being exposed/infected with the virus, and it is somewhere in the neighborhood of only 180 patients!
That's a far cry from 30,000.
