I don't know but it seems like if you have good news to tell people you don't postpone telling them until the last minute.

And you don't tell them when everyone's finished work for the week and gone out (in?) on Friday night.

Not sure how it would take an entire weekend to digest any info. Revenues, profit/loss, debt, outlook, done.
