I agree with you substantially Mo, I just fear that BP has so successfully bought off the FDA that there's no way Brilacidin is going to get expedited review much less Emergency/Compassionate Use designation unless the right BP is along for the ride. I don't know that that's the case (I hope it's not), but at this point I'm so cynical I'm not sure what I believe! B for COV19 seems like an apparent slam-dunk as a therapeutic, and still it's slow-walked through the process, instead of being accelerated in order to save lives and provide for future COVID victims. It just seems like the fix is in, and BP doesn't want to let us play!
