NP may be saying these things to pressure the FDA but , if that’s the case, the FDA will ultimately do what they want to do. It may work in this case because the head of the FDA will be out of a job on January 20th. He may want to be the one that blessed drugs like Leronlimab and be able to take credit for it , plus he is on the record with Dr Topol saying if a drug shows it can reduce deaths it should get approved during a Pandemic( not an exact quote but was implied when he spoke during the interview)
