When a respected medical journal publisher for nearly 200 years calls out the two longest standing apparatuses (apperati?) for medical treatment study and approval for being corrupted by profit motives during a global pandemic, that's a major sign that reform is desperately needed. I've felt for a long time we need a bold trust-buster like Teddy Roosevelt and a reformer like his cousin Franklin to clean this mess up. Monopolies will suck the life right outta your flimsy democracy without strong regulations in place. Greedy libertarians and the fools pushing marketplace self-correctors be damned!
