Suny, the Kansas trial was going to be a jury trial when it was scheduled for end of March 2020, but due to Covid, Kansas stopped all jury trials. So the case was changed from a jury trial to a court trial (judge only) and rescheduled on March 16 for September, then October.
Initial oral closing arguments were made on Oct. 16 by both sides and Judge Vano requested the final closing arguments in writing.
Bush (L2) has until 11/20 for submitting his written closing.
Modrcin (QMC) has until 01/08/21 for reviewing and submitting his written closing.
Bush then has until 01/29/21 for submitting his written response.
Then it up to the judge to rule.
The dates are not fixed deadlines and could move out.
