The argument is not about leronlimab as it has minimal side effects. The argument is that investors who’ve never prescribed a medication don’t understand that nearly every medication has known side effects and are calling for any drug with a side effect not to be used. Every day, in ERs, ICUs and ORs, deathly ill patients and sick patients are treated with medication that has side effects as it’s either the only choice or the best choice. Those side effects are monitored by labs, rads, and symptoms and treated accordingly.
To discount a drug just by it’s listed side effects is ridiculous.
