BTW, Generex's pricing will be set by CMS(Medicare) and the Pharmacy Benefit Managers if this winds up being a fee for service situation through insurance. Obviously if the government steps in and buys the product directly I don't know what premium will be allowed for such a bulk purchase.
I believe there is a formula that takes into account development costs and how many patients/vaccinations will be needed and they come up with a pricing structure that allows a more than reasonable profit in most cases. For a pandemic vaccine I would not be surprised to see $10-20. Especially if ours is safer, more effective, longer lasting etc.
Generex isn't going to try and gouge anyone.
