Vitamin D- short version- just take 5,000 Units daily
If dark complexion probably take loading dose of 50,000 units
This is a fat soluble vitamin and hard to take too much.
I have seen inpatients(little to no sunlight) take 50,000 units weekly for months and still be only in the mid range of normal
