Confused...very confused...
So a vaccine is approved that won't make any noticeable impact on society and the spread for half a year to year, has a question mark on who will take it, the safety profile, whether it is effective on all strains of Covid, can retain that efficacy over time, and lacks any details on the results of the overall study for now. Jackpot!
So a MAB is approved to possibly keep people out of the hospital even though they'll need to get the IV in a hospital, and it may cause anaphylaxis (among a host of other side effects), and it may or may not keep you out of the hospital, and it shouldn't be given to you if you are really sick because it could make things worse, and you need to get it right away as soon as you test positive for the most part. Sign me up!
I wish there was a simple injection that could save lives, potentially cure long haul symptoms, keep you out of the hospital without having to go to the hospital, and a warning label that will read "Major side effects may include decreasing the size or metastasis tumors in your body to enable your immune system to rid your body of cancer and/or decrease the likelihood of HIV infection. May increase libido as a result".
2 insider purchases at prices 33% higher. Increased pace of CD-12 enrollment & media coverage. All forward progress on recent calls. Great new company hires to expedite and increase probability of success on all upcoming catalysts. Yada yada. Move along, nothing to see here.
Hmmm I wonder who could possibly be manipulating the stock to enable more attractive deal terms on the next financing round? I never really bought into the manipulation conspiracy theory but these prices are truly nonsensical to me (hence the confusion) and I have almost no choice but to start thinking there is some truth there...not that retail traders/investors can do anything about it.
Btw, as much as I applaud those making money continuing to short this, I highly recommend closing those shorts on a daily basis. Intraday is all good & fun, but the lower it goes, the higher the liklihood of getting your face ripped off on an overnight position in a highly lopsided risk/reward equation. Remember, each incremental short can make at most a 100% return, at worst an infinite loss.
