Part of me wonders if Dr BP went to bat for us. I know his company is working with OWS and perhaps he may have mentioned that his test kits work best with a little known molecule called leronlimab.

Full disclosure that is pure speculation. It's just that NP seemed fairly abrupt when government funding of any kind was mentioned saying they can't talk about that. Even say it they've never said anything about OWS, which is true. Dr BP was the one who slipped it into an interview, not NP...and now...it comes out of NPs mouth somewhat casually on a local news station interview.
