The amazing part of this article is where it states that contracts worth $1bn have been awarded, and what we learned earlier that of the three tests that passed the Oxford University assessment, the UK government has bought one of them, Tried and Tested.
According to documents reviewed by the Financial Times, the Department of Health has awarded contracts worth at least £1bn to companies providing rapid testing.
