There are studies that have shown that the most severely ill COVID patients have low levels of zinc. Zinc is known to have some effect on coronaviruses like the common cold -- that's why any drug store or grocery store you walk into will have zinc lozenges for sale. Vitamin D in general is an immune system booster, and has been shown to reduce the incidence of intestinal cancers (boost immune system = kill off cancer cells before they take control).
Obviously people with low zinc and D levels won't know, so taking supplements is a good idea. But this is NOT going to protect people from COVID, although it may help make the disease less severe for those infected.
We need Brilacidin and other good drugs to be developed if we want a chance of anything like a more normal existence.
