IMO success overseas is what is needed. The FDA can keep kicking the LL can down the road as long as BP wants them to. BP also owns most media outlets due to extensive advertising budgets. . But if LL is approved in another nation and the results are revealed some media and the public here will start to ask questions. Word will get out.
Also we can’t ignore the possible implications of politics and a VERY contentious election in a few days. The current administration should be in LL’s camp (if they even know of it), but it’s probably too late to do them any good anyway. Their “experts” seem to be willfully ignoring us. It’d be interesting to know if that’s at the behest of BP or opposing political forces.
Lot of variables in play. With daily cases heading towards 6 figures one would think a sense of urgency would be appropriate, but the current administration doesn’t seem to think so based on recent statements.
All in all it’s a very strange situation that seems to defy logic. Hopefully at some time ethics, logic and decency will prevail.
