This study indicates that 90% of mild to moderately ill Covid-19 patients mount an adequate immune response to the virus. No wonder our M/M trial was struggling for statistical significance.
Still, the challenge is to find and prevent the 10% who do not mount an adequate immune response from progressing to something worse.
And who is to say that among the 90% there aren't those who suffer organ and health compromise? Are the recovered really recovered in this group?
This pandemic has certainly created a rich field for medical investigation that will, hopefully, bear much fruit for future health knowledge.
