Leronlimab in the U.S. will cost $60k per year vs $14 - $18k for standard of care. Where leronlimab shines is it doesn't develop resistance. Those who have developed multiple resistance will go with leronlimab rather than progress to AIDS. Many doctors will also prefer to prescribe leronlimab because of it's safety profile.
The original price for leronlimab was $120,000. I laid out the argument for $35,000 a year for all indications. If we handled distribution ourselves or paid to have it done it was very viable. Lo and behold 4 or 5 days later it was announced the price was $35,000. But when the distribution deal was struck we'd get 50% and the royalties were on our end. So the price had to reflect that - $60,000.
