Great, so it appears QMC has a case number and can ask the court for a court date to start the ball rolling or whatever the next step will be.
For all I know, K&L Gates may decide that a legal malpractice suit and resultant publicity will not impact their business or ability to get new business. It seems like a risk to their reputation that places their ability to win more law firm of the year awards in some doubt, but that's why they get paid the big bucks, right?
