Occasionally, I listen to the Rachel Maddow podcast of her previous evening's broadcast. Putting politics aside (please), the beginning of every episode has an ad for Norton anti-everything security software. It seems to include everything that Endpointlock does, plus, it's anti virus, supplies you a VPN, and more.
To me, this indicates the one of the many serious problems in the SFT business model. That is, people don't want to buy digital security software in an ala carte manner, they want to buy one thing that's easy to install, not too expensive, covers the bases, and then be done with it.
Who has time or wants to investigate whether they should buy PrivacyLok, GuardedID, ProtectID or CrytpoDefender. It's confusing and too much work, I'd like a bundle, please, and not to think about it ever again.
