I wouldn’t discount GILD and remdesevir until the EUA is rescinded.
That doesn’t seem likely unless a gold standard study demonstrates no efficacy from the drug across any COVID population. GILD played their BP cards to get the EUA and they will not lose that EUA without a fight. Until then it’s the SO.
it’s also hard to gauge whether a majority of providers who treat COVID19 patients are going to discontinue use of Remdesevir because of the WHO findings. They don’t limited options at this point.
