The Moon Kil Woong article provides excellent insight. I am quite encouraged about the idea of doing a second interim analysis at 75%. It’s a compromise that I hadn’t considered possible — and one that addresses the concerns that many here have raised about statistical power, while saving us from the (time and cost) burden of a full enrolment. Combined with the recent news that Dr. Yang’s paper has been accepted for publication, this offers good reason for renewed optimism about our prospects in the relatively short term.
