You're observation is spot on IMO. It seems that our debates here are similar to political arguments. All sides make arguments based on presumptions that are often not true or only partially true.
In the heat of our disappointments, it is very hard to step back and assess what we know instead of what we believe.
Let's hope for clarity and more positive news this afternoon.
