What a week I have had! In addition to catching the crabs, I also ended up in hand to 8 arms combat with a denizen of the deep which delayed my return to Columbia. Friday morning, while I was preparing to leave Charleston and come back home, I heard that a terrible sea critter had entered the harbor and was laying siege to the Ravenel Bridge. The report also stated that there was no one around that was capable of handling the situation.

As fate would have it, I had once worked part time for an octopus disposal service back in my youth so I quickly volunteered my services to the good people of Charleston...... Well, I'm sorry to say that I didn't save the bridge but I did run the critter back out to sea and everyone was glad that I did. Had this thing made it out of the water it would have been almost as destructive to the city as a Lubrul Nutburger Mayor backed up by a Librul Nutburger City Council.LOL
