As I think through all the discussions here today I have one more observation on a potential scenario:
NP did box himself into a corner by saying 'results on Friday'. If discussions with the FDA were not complete and looked to not be by Friday then the vaguely worded PR would make sense to buy time as no decision or information could be disclosed at that time. To me the PR could be "We are not finished yet" vs "FDA says no EUA"
I do though believe that the EUA looks less probable now but I still think all possibilities are still open as there are just too many unknowns to guess on this one (other's will disagree on this I'm sure).
