A story from A/V that might be on topic...
Van Halen put the no brown M&Ms in their contract, because in the beginning, they played flea bag venues. They needed 4 x 20 amp circuits laid out over the stage by the house before the bus arrived. Also in the contract.
If they arrived at the venue and brown M&Ms were backstage, they had a clue that nobody at the flea bag venue read the contract.
My favorite rider story is from a female friend of mine who used to do backstage catering.
Marylyn Manson wanted a 4’x8’ plywood sheet built up with white pine 6” high. It needed to be constructed in his/her dressing room and filled with kitty litter. So that he/she didn’t have to leave his dressing room to take a crap or pee.
Elizabeth said f.no. And later got fired.
Not sure if this applies to Nader, but I love he says f.no.
